told me that I didn't need an overhaul of my transmission
(which the dealer had told me I needed) but rather a
relatively inexpensive ($429 including tax) repair. Will go
back again if I ever have a problem

is very clear that the people at Transplant Transmission
are interested in customer service. I called and visited
several transmission repair shops
and picked TT for several reasons. When I called to drop my
car off they provided a loaner-car while my transmission
was being rebuilt. The loaner certainly was not something to
write home about, but when I arrived on a cold day in December
they had it already warmed up and ready to go. Plus, I didn't
have to worry about making alternative arrangements for
transportation while my car was being repaired. They rebuilt
my transmission in only a few days which was great.
Other places I checked out told me it would take about a week.
Also, they used OEM parts rather than 3rd party mfgr parts
which made me feel better. The car they worked on is a 1996
4Runner and we had some snow after I picked up my car.
Unfortunately, the car would not shift into 4-wheel drive. I
called Transplant Transmission on Monday and they asked
me to drop it off immediately and fixed the problem in just a
couple hours. They apologized for any incovnenience and worked
hard to make it easy for me. I also like that they have a
three year guarantee, though hope I do not need it. Having a
transmission fixed is such an issue of trust since
their is almost no way of knowing what is done. The team at
Transplant Transmission made me feel more comfortable than
some of the other places I checked out. Other places felt a
bit too "salesy" for my taste. These guys really seemed
genuinely interested in fixing my car. If you need a
transmission rebuilt I definately recommend including
transplant in your comparison shopping. I an happy with
the results and my car is running great

Transplant Transmission gets A+ grades for knowledge, and
customer service. the owner and staff are very
knowledgeable. they kept me informed through email and
over the phone, and they really helped me to understand
the various problems that can occur with transmissions.
Above all, their customer service was off-the-charts
EXCELLENT. they were kind and actually seemed to care
about my car. also, they were so flexible. They picked my
car up from another auto shop, and they were honest and
informative as well. And, they were accomodating, as they
loaned me a car at no charge while they kept my car for
further diagnosing. In the end, it turned out that my car
may not have even had a problem, and for their troubles,
they charged me NOTHING. Lastly, the owner is super nice
and was an absolute pleasure to deal and do business with.
i'd recommend transplant transmission to anyone who might
have problems with their transmission.

This shop was great. I took my F250 here for a rebuild and
they came in lower then the original quoted price. I use
my truck for business and they were able to make it a
priority rebuild which only took about 3 days. I was also
offered a loaner vehicle which I thought to be a great
idea. I highly recommend transplant for any transmission
repair. The staff is friendly and I was able to talk
directly with the techs about the problems. the original
diagnosis was free and they did the scanning and
everything in front of me so nothing was shady about this
place at all. Honest, fast, and a great price. I got a 36
mo warranty that I hope I don't have to use but I like
knowing they back up their work.
